As part of our amazing Deck Team Junior Deck Administrators are responsible for assisting the Safety Officer, Staff Captain and Captain to ensure all the departments paperwork is up to date, welcomes new sign on team members to the department and ensure contractors paperwork is correct. This behind the scenes role plays a vital part in supporting the department and is the right hand of the Deck Senior Officers.

Preforms all clerical related work for the Deck Department
Support the Captain, Staff Captain and Safety Officer in their office duties
Maintaining logs for crew certification SCC, Crowd and Crisis etc.
Ensures that all paperwork and documentation required by Company policies and regulatory bodies is duly completed and accurate.
Prepare list of deck personal in Port Manning duty.
Prepares minimum crew schedules and monthly technical crew list
Keeps updated certification for Deck ratings
Assists the Captain and the Staff Captain with payrolls issues and other related paper works
Supervise the proper handling of work hours recording in Fun Time for all deck personnel.
Assist the Safety Officer to conduct vessel Familiarization and DST for sign on Team Members
Ensure all aspects of Company Occupation Health and Safety procedures are effectively applied during work activities.
Any other assignments as required by the Captain, Staff Captain or the Safety Officer.
