Oiler
BASIC FUNCTION:
Will be trained in various fields and tasks in the enginedepartment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be advised thatRCLplaces the highest value on the environment, andall employees shall do the same. Those assigned to this position shallwork with superiors and subordinates to understand and comply with thecompany’s environmental policies and be committed to safeguard theenvironment. He shall directly and immediately inform his immediatesuperior if any environmental system does not function properly.
- Assist in the maintenance that has to be carried out in different areas ofthe engine department
- Keep engine and pump rooms clean and perform any kind ofpaint work.
When assigned to engine watch:
BASIC FUNCTION:
Oiler will be assigned to one of the 2nd Engineers and he willwork in close cooperation with him. He will be on the same watch schedule as the 2ndEngineer, 8 hours per day.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oiler shall help the 2nd Engineer carry out necessary painting, cleaningand maintenance of their assigned area.
- Additional routines and work as assigned by supervisor.
